Arrayah is an approximately 4-4.5 year old Staffy.

She was surrendered to a vet clinic in SC after apparently "falling off the back of a truck."

Her femur was severly broken, she was emaciated, heartworm positive and had a very broken spirit.

She had surgery and had a pin placed to help stabilize her leg and was brought to PA.

Her pin was in for almost 15 weeks and was removed so that her bone could continue to heal the rest of the way on its own.  She has completed all of her heartworm injections and is now heartworm free. She is spayed and utd on vetting.

She is house and crate trained. She is very timid and has a lot of fears. It takes her a long time to warm up in a home and will need a place that will give her time and space to feel comfortable on her own.  She is still coming out of her shell more each week and she has been here 7 months.

She has done well with dogs once she has time to get used to them being in a home with her. This can take months though and for that reason we recommend she either find a home with no animals, or one that will give her space where she does not have to meet them until she is ready. In this case, your dog MUST be good with all dogs. She was used as a bait dog at one point so needs time to feel comfortable. A meet and greet with her and your dog(s) would not go well.... she would be too scared to show her true personality. We feel children would be too much for her. She has zero aggression, but does withdrawl and shutdown if something is too much for her. She does better with women than men when opening up--she was abused by a man.
